The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
I've been using mine now on several trips and many backyard hours. I'm 6' and 230 lbs. There have been no issues with stretch at all. They have made some nice improvements in the design of the Atlas, 15 in line loops on each strap, soooo much better than the slap straps.
They worked great for me. Zero stretch
I'm happy with mine.
If their Polyester they should not stretch but if you have the money I would try the whoopie sling because it is lighter and if you use a bishops bag it reduces the ammount of bags you have to carry to 2 instead of three (tarp, hammock, straps). I am planing to go to whoopie very soon I will be upgrading my hammock over the winter by about 200 bucks.
Bacon and Camping makes me happy.

Me
I camp in bear country and I am a bear Burrito.
Thanks, but whoopes aren't my style. I have been using the cinch buckle on my Blackbird for a while and love the ease of adjustment. Just wanted to see if ENO really put out the product the Atlas straps were supposed to be or not. Might grab a pair for my dayhiking/backyard hanging kit.

Girlfriend, and I got a chance to try out our Atlas Straps, and they are great. No stretch like we were getting with the Slap Strap Pro's Can't wait to use them again!
I have had a set for about a month and even slept double one night in my DN (which I would not say is exactly "comfortable") and had no stretch I could discern. I am 6ft 235lb and she is around 130lb, would say our combined weight was 360ish lb. I am very happy with them. So much so I am considering modifying my HH with carabineers for Atlas strap use. Hard to beat for ease and speed of use.
