    DIY tea candle lantern

not sure if this has been posed, thought id show y'all what I've used for years.
never had one burn the base, all materials were from other thing.

1 12oz sprite bottle (these seem to be wider for some reason)
    3 paper fasteners
12-15'' of small chain (picture hanging wire can work too)
    1 paperclip
    some 550 cord

That's cool. I usually take along a couple of the battery operated LED tea candles they sell at world market. Especially in places where you can't have fires, it's nice to have a bit of flame to stare at.
