Yes, if anyone asks what you did on the weekend, you can say you went on an arm chair ride to hell and back. A bee keepers bee suit, like what MedicineMan has got, would be a good look for that place.
Thanks, raiffnuke! It took a while to get around to sharing it, it looked like I was going to keep it to myself for a while there too – bit of a hog! lol
Welcome to the Hammock Forums, Mikeinajeep! And, thanks for watching and commenting!
That was a classic movie, Dirty Harry. A 45 would sort thoughs mozzies out pretty good, not allowed to have fun toys like that here though. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, Resqsarge03! Oh and welcome to you too to the Hammock Forums!
Hi there, Dangme Hangme! A big welcome to you as well! Good to see the Hammock Forums is helping more people see the hammock hanging light – hammocks are great! That guided tour sounds pretty good, you have to give me the name of it. No, I’m just being silly, thanks for watching, Dangme Hangme, and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
It’s been a long time coming that’s for sure! It only got finished now because for some strange computer reason, I couldn’t save the video of the map (near the start) and had to keep the computer switched on until I finished the whole video. Thanks for watching and commenting MAD777, that’s great!
Im out and about at the moment. Weak signal on my phone, im not able to view video. Looking forward to stronger signal so i can. Its been a while.

Thanks back at you for the welcome Brucie. And my preferred "mosquito swatter" is a Springfield Arms .40 SC. Oh Yeah!
I hope you’re not out hiking, cuz that wouldn’t be fair!
I think I’m developing a negative vibe towards mozzies. Just the sight of the word, buzzz freaks me out a bit. Next time I’ll be taking my brand new electrified tennis racket bug zapper. THEN, a swatting good time will be had, by me anyway, mozzies might not like it much! lol I’m please to hear that you enjoyed the video, ofuros and thanks for commenting!
Your mozzie swatter sounds better than what I plan to use - electrified tennis racket bug zapper.
OUCH!! Electric bug zapper racket

What kind of kayak was that? In some of the shots it looked to have a fabric skin.
Hi XSrcing,
The kayak is an, Advanced Elements AirFusion Kayak – AE1040
It’s funny you say it looks like it has a cover on it. A while ago, I paddled past some “real” kayakers and one of them said, “Has that got a cover on it?” It’s what’s known as a skin on frame kayak. A vinyl shell on a alloy and inflatable tube frame . It works well, the best thing about it is that it stores well, both at home and in the car. I only paddle 4 or 5 times a year, so storage is pretty important.
Loved the trip report. Mossies sure are a pest. If I had a choose between mossies and leeches, I'll pick the mossies. Both give me a allergic reaction.
Always enjoyable Brucie. Loved that beach with nobody on it.
