I have been paddling to Bear Island since the last hang 2-3 times a week for water therapy for Houdini. If it interests those who were there, the water was so high, that it went right up to the sign, and there were two water puddles/ small ponds right inside the site.

Does it always get this high this time of year?

My food isn't as spicy, it's well seasoned, but not spicy. I sometimes bring things so people can spice it up. There's something for everyone. If people want it, I will bring my Venison Sloppy Joes, and Cheesy potatoes for the Friday night. If I get 5 yeas then I will bring a couple of lbs and the rest can decide when they see it.

Percy Priest update: I was out paddling the Priest tonight and the sidewalks are still covered and the lake is higher! The two large puddles at Bear Island are now one big one reaching to the where the picnic table has been moved. All 4 jets are open on the dam and they are trying to get the water off the land and the pool down. It was fabulous paddling. First we went to Bear Island and then headed over to Hole-In-the-Wall and when I was almost there I decided to paddle to Anderson and take out.

I only saw sailboats last night and tonight sailboats, and one ski jet. Great for Kayaking. Head over there if you get a chance and take a look. I think entry is free now.
