    Trick for cutting mesh/netting

I was trying to cut mesh/netting for use as baffles in my Under quilt, and got very frustrated with the progress. "There has to be a better WAY"! I have access to a large format printer at work, and therefor we have large scrap pieces of paper. I took a piece of paper 24 inches long and made a tube out of it, making sure that the tube was only one layer of paper thick. (did not want to over work the scissors) I then marked off the appropriate length for my baffles, in this case 3 inches. I wrapped the tube with my mesh/netting and then cut the mesh and paper in one cut. This created little rolls of mesh with relatively accurate width.

I absolutely LOVE that idea RockIsland!
The most time consuming part of quilt building is the baffles. What a time saver!
