Hello, all!
The name's Greg. I'm a new guy when it comes to hammock accessories and backpacking, but not to hanging. A bunch of my friends down here (Orlando) have hammocks and we hang in our backyards a lot when it's nice. I began watching Shug's videos at the beginning of the summer in awe of the places he'd been. I ended up with an ENO Double Nest (Noooo, an ENO?!). I've done a few canoe trips but nothing like a backpacking trip. I move back up to Minnesota here in a week for school and I'm close to so many beautiful and interesting hiking opportunities. I guess I decided to go the hammock direction because it's way more comfortable than tent camping. I'm a young 21 years old and am looking forward to start backpacking more, and possibly meeting up with some of you minnesotans for a few day hike. I still have yet to get a backpack, or a tarp, but I think I can make the latter thanks to the DIY forums.
