I dont really carry because of the wild life, I carry because there are waaaaaay to many idiots out there that dont care what they do or when they do it. I mean if I absolutely had to, I'd use it to protect myself from an animal, but that is not my intent when I bring one. I hope and pray I never have to use my gun in self defense again. It's not a pleasant experience.
It would be awesome to, just once, have a discussion about bears without it degrading into the same tired, overplayed, exhaustively repeated discussion about guns.
I'm a Chicago Bears fan.
