Lol. I looked at my description and I think someone fixed it for me.

I'm going to do my tarp a little different on the ends but it will end up similar. I'll post pics when I'm done with it.

Man these tarps are huge! If I run it in a diamond shape its 16 feet long!! Have you noticed that it seems the side tie outs never seem to look tight? I find that annoying, that is why I'm considering this mod. Maybe its just me and I'm being OCD about it.

Hey, thanks for the link.. :)

Hey guys, thanks for linking to that article on my blog about setting up the Noah 12. I just want to say that I just got back from a trip in which there was quite a good downpour on my setup for a few hours and everything under the tarp was quite dry. The benefit of that setup is that it does give you more room under the tarp and more privacy if you set it up like I have it. The downside though is that obviously the tarp takes up more room than the smaller versions. But, I will say that I have gotten my tarp, ENO Doublenest hammock, ENO Guardian Bug net, 4 steaks, 40' ridgeline, figure nines, extra cordage etc. down to a bag that is probably only slightly larger than a gallon of milk.

Well. I will not be modifying this tarp. I dont think I'm ready to do that yet. I think I can tackle the task of making my own, but I'm not going to mess up my tarp. I think I might sell my Noah and get a DD 3x3. Its a little bit smaller and I can stealth hang with it.

    Stealth hanging

I wish there was a tarp that came in a RealTree pattern for that purpose. The Kelty does stick out like a soar thumb.

Dont worry about the hems. Just a simple rolled him will work fine. I find a rotary cutter or hot knife preferably work the best for cutting.
