H.O.C. campground???

I voted no. The reason is we are trying to educate the tenters that there is an alternative way to camp. Just offering them a complimentery hammock is a good idea but hard core tenters can be a little slow at trying new ways. If they were set up next to a hammocker they would see every morning why people hang.

,but even the hammock hangs that are put together on HF do not shun tenters. i have only been to a handful, but hope all others allow and welcome tenters. we try not to "exclude" people. just my thoughts. KK

after 26 straight hours of hard rain we have a creek again and should have till may or june, the old timers round here say lots of rain and a hard winter, you mean lots of snow? well we can hope can't we?

Ya know, I was thinking; you could make this a campground available for all types of shelters but still promote hammocks. I would call it Hammock Haven. This way you are promoting hammocks but allowing all forms of shelters to stay at the campground. Besides "The Hammock Haven" just sounds attractive.

Just some thoughts to ponder.

Something to ponder, but lookin forward to the H.O.C. When I ride and go to the T.W.O. campgrounds, a regular campground just ain't the same,but nutins carved in stone, i like the name.
