    Custom made Under/Top quilts

I know there are those on here who DIY, I am not that guy sadly...I just don't have the time to learn to make an underquilt right now.

I am looking for someone to make me a 0* underquilt to custom fit my hammock. It is a no name that I got at a surplus army store; I love it and would like to use it this winter but I get cold very easily.

Can you guys lead me to someone who would make me at the least an underquilt? I want my quilt to be the full length of my hammock and attach with shock cord to the ends as well as having shock cord on the sides. I would welcome any and all comments or suggestions on companies/persons who can and would be willing to do this.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

    Regards,

    Ozarkhanger.

I think the majority of the vendors on here that sell UQs would be willing to custom make you one, just shoot em an email or give em a call.

Hammock Gear will definitely accommodate you. They've done custom for other folks.

Paul makes amazing custom quilts, they are all made to order. I've got a few from him and plan to order more in the future. You could even send him your hammock to get it perfect if it's something crazy.

Howdy, Ozarkhanger. Do you have a budget in mind for your underquilt? I know it's confusing and overwhelming if you're just getting into the hanging hobby...I've been fully equipped for a few years, but have been reading the forums again, because I want some new gear, and am a little bit lost myself, because so many new companies have sprouted up! I can't say that you would save much over an "off the shelf" underquilt, so it might be easier, and faster, to wait for what you want to pop up for sale.
