I'd be in, and I'll see if I can be out there at least Friday and Saturday. I'm relatively new to the whole hanging thing. Only been out maybe 3 or 4 times, and I've never done a group hang before. But I live in Wauchula, not too far from Arbuckle at all. It'd be a shame to miss it. I'll see what I can do.
I am tempted to join in as well, but would only be able to make it for the 23rd and 24th. I've never done a group hang either, but am very interested. Most of my camping experience has been car camping for climbing and surfing trips, but I've been wanting to get further back into the woods. Any advice or input would be appreciated.
As far as worrying about when you can get there, just come when you can. I will probably get there after work and may have to hike in after dark. If you have only hammock camped a couple times and are not sure how to set up, don't worry. We all set up different. Also, coming to a group you will get to look at everyones different setups and equip and then you can get some ideas of what you want to change or keep on your setup.
Just come out and have fun.......

I'm trying to talk to a few friends and possibly my wife about going. I'll let you guys know when I know for sure. We may actually show up on Thursday just because my wife and I both work in churches, so we'd need to leave Saturday afternoon.
BraveSaintStuart, robinsmv, and Shannon - come on out! I have only attended two group hangs, a year apart (didn't even get to hang at the most recent one, was there for about 3-4 hours), and some of these guys were there. You will not regret the experience!
