Nice! I just sent my tarp out yesterday, now to order the poles!
I think we should do a pro's & con's of the pole mod.
1st, it just looks cool.
2nd, No need for tarp tensioners.
3rd, More room inside.
The only con that I can think of is a little weight gain of the poles, but offset by the tensioners.
And, I was a little worried that I was going to pop a pole thru the fly when I was measuring them for the cut.

About how much does this mod cost??? I am planning on getting a superfly and the pole mod intrigues me...

I think to have them sewn on is like $16. However, you would have to sent it to them. They also sell them on their web site and you can sew them on yourself. Not really that hard to do.
The poles cost around $26 for everything.
Has anybody modded the superfly with a two pole system? I was thinking for something like a bridge hmmock, it would be nice to have the poles match up to the spreader bars.
what type of wood did you use for that frame, is it stained or coated? Looks great.
