I'll keep an eye on the MT folks for a hang. I'm currently in MD but I may be moving your way soon.

I love the mountains here in southern Appalachia, but I always have Montana, Idaho or Wyoming on my mind too.

    Welcome !

If there isn't a MT hang, we need to start one! I'm in Billings, I know of at least one other member (SnrMoment) from Billings and I've seen a couple from elsewhere in the state.

Aside: Stu rocks! So fast on getting cool gear to my door.

Definitely need to start a MT hang! I don't know if the Idaho one got going...Sawtooths are up in flames here.

And yes...Stu really rocks! Cant believe how fast he ships!

Maybe, in the spring we could arrange some sort of hang, it would most likely be very informal, unless someone wants to put the effort into organizing. I know I would be unable to organize, I am the pick up and go type, planning into the future never works for me, life gets in the way.

I am thinking about returning to my roots, either Bozeman or Butte, I think I like Butte better than Bozemen. Butte, has so many oportunities, both my Grandfather and Greatgrandfather had homesteads near those two cities.

My clan would guarantee three adults, if you came that would be at least 4 people and I know there are others that might be interested. It is worth thinking about.

Good idea. Plus something to look forward to this (long) winter.
