After setting up my Ridgerunner many more times and taking naps in it, I'm completely psyched I made the switch! I can set it up faster than I ever could my Blackbird. I don't have to spend so much time getting the suspension angles perfect and making sure the ridgeline is correct, I don't have to stake out the netting, etc. The Ridgerunner is sooo much more comfortable than my Blackbird ever was, the view is night and day better...I could go on. I just can't say enough good things about this hammock!!

Awesome! I did a grueling 40 mile climbing ride with my bike club yesterday, and after I set up the Ridgerunner to relax in. I fell asleep in minutes lol

My fiancée was laying in the ENO DN next to me and now wants a Ridgerunner after laying in it again, so I guess I'll be ordering another!

The anticipation is killing me. I cant wait to get my WBRR in the mail.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Got out this last night for my first real hang in it. First using the Toxaway as well. Like Yukon's video, I had plenty of room for the spreaders under the tarp. Mild angle, but if I had to pull it down to be right next to the spreaders, I doubt there would be much issue once I got in the RR.

Was a hot humid night, no insulation needed. I seem to like the hammock to sit lower than I do in the gathered hammocks, which helps with the tarp, but I think an undercover would be a needed accessory when using an UQ. Love, love the saddlebags for a book, electronics, flask, water bottle, etc.

Don't know if it was the heat or what, but it was not the best night sleep. I was plenty comfy, was just a different feel than what I'm used to. I tossed and turned a bit more than I thought I would. Same good feeling getting up in the morning, though.

Took some pics of the tarp with the RR and will try to get those up soon.

I just crawled out of mine about an hour ago, camped in my backyard last night in the rain. Best nights sleep I have ever had in a hammock

Has anyone tried an inflatable air mattress in the Ridgerunner that is only a single layer? It seems like the design of a bridge stye hammock would naturally lend itself to keeping a pad/mattress in place much more than a conventional diagonal lay hammock. I have a Neo Air Xlite that I would like to use with it. I'd like to avoid buying an extra underquilt and save a couple of ounces in the process by avoiding the extra layer.

I'm going to test a NeoAir in mine, and I'll put it inside the hammock to see how it would work with a single layer. I have a torso-length one, so one issue I'd expect is the height difference between the inflatable torso pad and the much thinner CCF leg pad. Putting them between the layers would minimize that somewhat.

I'll let you know how it works out.
