Troll! Not the kind that stink up forums, but the kind with knots all over and perhaps more than one head. Yes; I recently watched Troll Hunter (amazingly well-done flick). Trying not to think about in woods....trying not to think about in woods....

Pseudocolus fusiformis ? or Stinkhorn mushroom. Smelled alot of bad things in the woods but this one is nasty. My wife my say it's close to the dreaded 'hiker funk' after a weekend in the woods.
