    Yep I've been corresponding with him through YouTube and he says it's been going great with his hammock and other equiptment. His base weight is 15 lbs I believe. Oh he said he's converted a bunch of ground dwellers!

    I just did an E2E of the long trail and hammocked the whole way. Meet a few thru hikers who were using hammocks and, they were really enjoying them. So as others have experienced and said its totally doable. I Also always use a hammock on all of my section hikes and its always been easy to find two trees to hang from
    Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

    Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
