Is it common knowledge how to make a round bottom stuff sack? I just figured out how to do it and it's super easy. I haven't found anything on here that really talks about how to do it.

One of my vid series shows how to do it. But it is fairly intuitive
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I think I've seen the method you mention in your video... pinning a round bottom in place and then stitching it in. If that's what you are talking about I think I have an easier way that ends up perfect. No pins... it takes shape automatically.
Here's a quick video using some scrap pieces and sloppy sewing to show the concept.

Here are some illustrations of what I'm talking about.

One piece of detail might be missing in the 3rd image... do a few stitches and then work to rotate the circle so that the line on the circle meets up with the straight line; keep the large fabric aligned normally. A few more stitches... rotate the circle... stitch, rotate, and so on until the circle is complete.
If it works it's beautiful. Room for more than one technique in the world.

Scooterbrown - that is great. Always the pictures that make things click!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
