I got my 1st hammock about 25-30 yrs ago. I used it on a couple of motorcycle trips and liked it. I don't know what happened to it or why I quit using it.
This yr my wife bought me a Grand Trunk single for Fathers day. It feels great on my back.. This summer I went back and forth on camping trips between the tent and the hammock. Next trip the tent will stay home.
I like motorcycle touring and kayak touring. Weight isn't an issue but space is.
Welcome to the forums, from Ohio. Glad the single works for you. Back when we started out, my son and I both found it uncomfortable do to it's small width and short length.
