    Ridge runner spindrift fabric question

I have looked on the Warbonnet web site for information regarding the spindrift sock.
The spindrift comes in 3 colours ; green , brown and bushwack Camo. The green and brown are 30 D nylon while the buchwack is 20 D nylon. With respect to weights, they’re the same within 0.1 oz.

My question is for the same weight shouldn’t the bushwack Camo be lighter since it is 20D nylon?
With regards to reliability is the 20D bushwack a good choice compared to the brown 30D at the same weight?

I’m trying to decide on the brown and bushwack Camo. I like the Camo but it’s seem more fragile & the fabric inside is like faded or mat like color. For those people who have purchased this what is your opinion on this ?

the heaviest parts are the shock cord, zippers and split rings

if this is what they use the 20d is poly and the brown is nylon. I have a bushwack pillow and brown spindrift. They seem the same really in care.

The 30d and 20d fabric are pretty close in weight and durability, I would say if you want camo I wouldn't hesitate to go with that fabric

Are the lighter weight fabrics calendered? Like the 20d inner on the LW double layer hammocks?

Yes, the 20d is calendared, the 30d isn't, so you may have to do a little more venting with the 20d, but that is pretty easy to do now that the SD comes standard with double doors

...the 20d is calendared on one side only, so there's no calendaring against your skin (when used on a hammock or topquilt)...I feel it is more comfortable this way

I got a sweet poly cloudburst in bushwhack, it's darker on outside, Is that for comfort too?
