Woke up in mine this morning. Met my Mom for lunch and came home to nap a while in the shade. Good times
Woke up in my son's new expedition to the sound of rain pattering the fly....Oops I slept in just a little late so I had to hang up the fly in the shed to dry. Oh well, it was worth it for a good night's sleep.
The first thing I did when I opened my eyes this morning was to say "Hey" to my dog and one of the cats as they sat near the hammock waiting for me to make a move. No rain clouds yesterday and tonight looks good, so I'll have another go at it
Made tarp snake skins out of pantyhoes!!
Surrendered it to my wife last night after she decided my 1xman tent was too small for her (claustrophobic). Only reason we took the tent camping was because our dog came along and my wife was convinced our dog wouldn't stay in the hammock. Dog kept escaping from the tent... Dog and wife spent the night in the hammock. I woke up with a stiff back...I notified my wife that she would be bringing her hammock next time! Ordered her whoopie slings and dutch clips when I got home...

"Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books."
My husband dragged in a popup camper this evening All I could think of was all of the work we have to put into redoing another camper, and where the heck on the outside of this thing can I attach my hammock....the hammock being more of the obvious, major concern.
Got out of mine about 09:15 this morning and will be getting back into it in an hour or so.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
