Modify Eno bug net and duble nest into 1

okay so after camping with this set up for a while now, and having to do it twice every time (once for me, and once for my wife) I have decided I'm LAZZY!!!

Has anyone tried to modify there hammock/bug net like this before?? It seems simple enough just cut it in half and sew it to the hammock and you have a set up like the sqeeter beeter or the HH.

Only thing I'm not sure about is the Zipper, DO i need to find a way to add those lil metal tabs or can i just zip it up cut the bottom half off sew it back together and be good to go??

Any help with how to modify the zipper would be greatly appreciated!!!

Have you looked into snake skins? I can slip my Hennessey, tapr and all, into the snake skins, one would think you could do that with the ENO bug net and hammock. I'm fixing to do it on my DN and buginator soon as i get paid----
