That depends on your metabolism and comfort level.
As a cold sleeper, I might be OK at 60 degrees with a
1/4"CCF pad. It would also depend on what I have as
    a top quilt.

As with most insulation YMMV, but...I'm also a warm sleeper, and a 1/4" GG is comfortable to about 40ºF for me.

Just be sure your pad is wide enough for plenty of shoulder coverage.

Its the big GG 1/4" pad.
    Roughly 40x60.
Have not had a chance to try it yet.

I have slept on 2 crossed pads plus a taco down to 18dF under a golite ultra 20.
Tarp was 10x12 set up in tent mode, closed ends.

And 20 degree bag and a pad will net me about 45 if there is no wind.

Just tested this same GG pad this past weekend. I did cut it down to fit me, but had plenty of coverage. I'm usually a warm sleeper, and a few things could change that like eating, dampness in the air, etc.

With that said, it was in the 50's and it was comfy until the cold seemed to seep through. That is the only way I know how to explain it. It would be warm for awhile, then I would wake feeling a bit cold, like the entire pad just got cold after awhile. As soon as I would wake, I would move around a bit, then warm again. I wanted to test it, so I had my UQ on standby below me in a stuff sack. After waking a few times throughout the night, I finally put the UQ on.

Now, I don't think I had much condensation, or sweat buildup. If I did, it wasn't much, but could have been just enough to chill me slightly and cause the coolness. It could explain why after moving I got warm again, it could have dried my skin with my shirt. I plan on testing it a few more times, but will have my UQ on standby just in case. By the way, when I put the UQ on, I left the pad in place, and I did get a little hot then, but never once felt like I was sweating. The pad was allot more comfortable than I thought it would be.

If you had it directly under you, IE not between a double layer, you probably were compressing the pad in the cold spots. Thus the reason it was warm when you moved.

    Good info, Thanks

I should have mentioned that, thanks tammons. It was between the layers of my 1.7 double layer BB. That pad is just to sticky for me to sleep directly on as I'm a mover most of the time. I sleep flat out on back, my left side, fetal, and sometime like I'm running in my sleep.
