Would 3" wide Tulle ribbon work for baffles on a UQ?
Its cheap and its already cut 3" wide.

I've not used it for baffles, but I made a bug net out of it. Seems to rip pretty easy if I'm not super careful with it. Just something for you to think about.
Yeah, I think that's a great idea. I think Dutch was looking into that a while back, but I never read if he did anything with it. The baffles in any quilt are mesh or no-see-um, so they're delicate by nature. As long as 3" is big enough for you to work with, I say give it a go! Worse comes to worse, you could substitute organza ribbon for your idea. Organza is super strong and quite light (lighter than no-see-um). Love the finished edges ribbon gives you! Great idea!

Thanks for the replies.
Cutting 3" strips from no seeum does not sound fun.
Again, I say go for it. But, did you see that fellow who rolled his no-see-um onto empty paper towel rolls and then cut the paper towel rolls and no-see-um all at the same time in three inch segments? That was cool... . If you don't find suitable ribbon that would make the job easier. I think you'll have a whole host of good options in ribbon. There are SO many types and sizes. Good luck! Let us know!
