Hello all you treehanging people.
I am Tom i live in belgium i am 35 years young,go hiking often and now willing to make it a more then 1 day thing.
I only got 2 nights in the DD frontline hammock but i was sold and in love with hammocking from the first night .
Man did i sleep well,and waking up being able to see and hear nature arround and enjoying it without getting out of your sleeping thing like you have to with a tent,it does not get any better then that.
Like most, i watch proffesorhammock and Mr Emery do hes thing in his videos at first i was like "Omg this dude has got some screws loose" ,but every video brought a smile to my face and he did grow on me .
So Thanks Shug,proffessorhammock and this forum ofc,if you dont have things like this its not easy getting started.
Planning a 10days trip to sweden next year,guess what i will be taking with me to sleep in .
Hope to learn some more on this very nice forum, and hope to meet you all in person , thats probably not gonna happen, cause we live so far apart but one can hope .

Two hanging folks living in Belgium! From one person living in Belgium to another, let me welcome you to HF. I think there must be a few more. I have been going through the Outings section of the Forums and it seems a hang was organized last year somewhere in the Ardennes. Things are looking up.
