Gathered end hammock owners that bought 2QZQ UQPs

    We want some feedback.

We have been receiving more questions about whether our UQP (under quilt protector) would work to hold a pad under the hammock instead of protecting an Under Quilt.

Those of you, if any, that have used it as such...would you be willing to give us some feedback....does it work? If so, is there anything we should do to make it work better?

Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

I think asking the UQP to hold a pad with the current suspension is really expecting a lot. I use mine as sort of a warm weather UQ. I tried draping a thermoflect blanket in there to augment and that seemed to work OK. I think maybe some floor underlayment foam, IX or similar product would work too but a pad is just too heavy to be held securely by the protector.

Yes, that is what we thought. We have been telling those that ask that it isn't designed to hold weight. I thought I would ask just in case someone modified it a bit to hold weight.

Ha, I just emailed you guys earlier about your uq protectors, was wondering if you'd be up for making one to fit a JRB bridge?

Short answer is no. I would not think the UQP would work to hold a pad. You would need more suspension points on the UQP to really get the pad snug under the hammock. I think this would be a different product.
