Yes, and a reminder, it is the Mohican Memorial State Forest, not the Mohican State Park. Another link to a site that has links to directions and a brochure with a map of the 10 free park and pack sites. Either site 9 or 10 at the northern portion of the map. http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/forests/m...0/Default.aspx

Make sure you self register at the kiosk and put the slip inside your car and up on the front window where they can see it. Fee is free.
This is part of Amish Country so watch for horse drawn carriages on these curvy, hilly roads.

Thanks DivaB, Ill be there around 6ish Friday night.
Due to Dakota's school schedule, we won't be in till probably after 5:30
Do you guys ever make it down to the Southwestern part of Ohio?
Not since I've been here. We do go south though. Zeleski is many people's favorites. You just have to be willing to travel a bit. Also keep your eye on Indiana's hangs. They do some that aren't too far from the Ohio boarder. They have a yearly Halloween hang that perhaps isn't too far from you. Here is the link, you'll need to check the location and see how far that is from you http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...halloween+hang
If your more Kentucky area, they do a yearly Mamouth Cave hang, well near it. Usually spring. I should have looked at your location before I started typing today, so I could have been more a help
Do you know of some good locations near you?? We try to do a hang every month and we're very open to seeing new areas. Doesn't hurt to get something on the books for October....a beautiful time of year
