If we can't get the beach on Lake Erie, then I'm fine with Mohican. My son and I still have to get in some horseback riding there. We have a lot of storm damage down south at our cottage we're still dealing with, so we do need to get a date down so I can plan around that. Pick a date that isn't around your surgery and gives you some time before hand and we put it on the books. Who ever is able to make it, will. The hangs have been a pretty small group lately so the parking issues we had back in June shouldn't be an issue.
The only things I don't like about the park and pack sites, is there is no pit. Sort-of grosses me out to think of all everyone has done in the woods around that area. It is also pack in your own water, but your are close to your car.

As long as you have the chosen weekend open, I have a loaner hammock that you could try out. That way you can check out different rigs and what not before purchase. We usually use pack and park site 9. There is plenty of good space there for hanging. I'm open to something different if it isn't a long hike in though.

This is not the park and pack site map. Site 10 is just a little further in from site 9 park and pack.. I like the idea of checking site 10 out.
