Best way to clean a tarp?

I've been hanging in the back yard a good bit and wind up with bird poop and such on my tarp. Going to take a bucket with water and mild soap, scrub with a nylon brush and rinse. Is there a better way to do it?
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

Me personally just use the garden hose and a soft piece of cloth to rub off the poop. Always worked for me.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

    +1

There isn't much that sticks to silnylon and pretty much everything falls right off with a little bit of water and scrubbing.

I hose down after every trip, if there's any stubborn dirt or bird poo, I use a wet cloth and rub gently.
