I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
That's right, I will blame him. It's his fault for all this hanging around and I couldn't thank him enough
Suppose I'll post my gear too... I'm carrying a Grand Trunk Skeeter Beater Pro and just got my tree huggers, a regular old blue tarp (for now), and I'm using a foam Therm-a-light Ridge Rest pad and whatever sleeping bag I need for the weather ranging from +60 to 0.
Welcome from another Omaha resident. I just took my daughter to the Rockies on a great trip. First real Hanging experience. I'm still trying to find the good places around here to hang. Sounds like the hanging community is growing here in NE.
The best ones that I know of, that are close to Omaha, are Hitchcock Nature area and Indian Cave. Love to hear about others.
Don't forget about Waubonsie over in IA about 10 minutes straight east of Nebraska City across the river. Beautiful and very nice trails.
Very cool, thank you. I will have to take a drive down there.
Another area that is somewhat close is Preparation Canyon state park about 1.5hrs north on I-29.
