I should be out sometime around 6 or 7.

I'll bring a few packs of hot links and some buns! I like mustard, so that's what I'll have. If you want anything more than that, you're on your own.

    Sweet...

Caveman is bringing the Links, Dogs, and buns.
Sarge is bringing a side dish
I will bring the paper plates, napkins, chips and dip, and condiments.

Let's each bring a bundle of wood for the fire and we should be set..

    FWIW:

I just got this from the LSHT Club:

The Trails Coalition will be meeting with the USFS on Nov. 3, 9 am, at the Sam Houston National Forest New Waverly Office on FM 1375. All are welcome to attend but only members ($10 membership accepted anytime) can speak. At the meeting I will ask when the trails will be opened and hope to get a definitive answer. Cathy Murphy, Coalition Board Member and Lone Star Hiking Trail Club Board Chair

I hope to be there, pay my $10 to the Trails Coalition and speak a piece about the recent change in rules regarding hunting season. The new rule that starts the Hunter's Camp requirements on 15 September and ending on 1 February is supposed to be a matter of convenience, but it only benefits the bureaucrats at the Forest Service. If I can find the date of the start of Gun Season every year by going to the TPWD website, so can they. Making this restriction begin two weeks after Bow Season starts and ending it a month after Gun Season ends makes no sense at all from a safety standpoint, or any other way you could look at it.

    Anybody else wanna go?

I've reserved our site and we'll see y'all on Friday!

We should be there between 3-4. I know Texas longhorn would like to participate in a hot dog dinner if the invitation is that broad. (I am on a canine free diet for the time being.) What can he bring to aide the cause? Drink requests?

Mortonjl is joining us at our site too and although I leave around lunch time, he may stay longer. I don't know if he'll hike or not though.

I look forward to being in the trees with you good folks.

    Yes indeed.
Whatever drinks that you want to bring or some extra buns would work.
