I had two key factors for my recovery plan, that big ole Brazilian hammock for sleeping in it because had to sleep first weeks 24/7 and this sports nutrition drink.
I'm going soon back to cycling racing action!

I strongly suggest that you have someone there, the first time you try to lay in the hammock with an injury. If it doesn't go well, you might need the help getting out.

I injured my spine a couple of months ago. After a few uncomfortable days on the couch, I thought I would try to get back in my hammock (I've been sleeping in it nightly for over a year now). It was a little uncomfortable getting in, but very comfortable and supportive once I was settled in. Tragedy struck when I tried to get out. My back spasmed BIG TIME and left me hanging half way out screaming with no one to help me.

Hi J.Andersons. I had a similar accident this past March, while riding a bicycle. I broke my clavicle, and yes, indeed, the helmet saved my bean, also. It was broken up right above the ear. I had bought an Incubator Zero from Hammock Gear, and was unable to use it, as I was on the mend. I was able to HANG IN MY HAMMOCK later on after I healed up. I just didn't lay on my right side. It was just this past week (18-20 Dec) that I was able to do a 32 pound backpack trip to HANG in the woods of Mohican State Forest, (of which my post was banished to this area as I assume yours was, too, for a question I had of an object I found.) I hope you are, by now after two years, back in the bicycle saddle and racing. I am a distance rider, and go for over nighters, utilizing my hammock as I can along the way. It is very relaxing. I know this is two years late, but, again, I hope you are healed and riding, and more importantly... HANGING.
