    WWM compared to WBBB

I'd be interested in feedback from people who have tried both these hammocks. One a scale of 0-10 how would you rate each of these for comfort (zero sleeping on sharp rocks, 10 = the most comfortable sleep you've had)

I think I will purchase the WWM shortly due to the weight savings and hopefully it will be a comfortable as many have said the WBBB is.

I know that the WBBB has more features: shelf, footbox, mosquito net, etc but weights quite a bit more.

My wife & I are try to go light or UL when we backpack, so if we can get an good comfort level for significantly less weight that will likely be our choice.

    Thanks,

    Rob

If it's weight you're concerned with, then the WWM is the way to go. If it's versatility you seek, then you can't go wrong with the WBBB.

Personally, I like my bugnet independent, 'cause there's quite a few months in the year that I don't need a bugnet and frankly, find an integrated bugnet annoying. When it's the middle of January and it's 20 degrees outside, I keep asking myself, "Why do I have an integrated bugnet?"

Fall/Winter are my favorite camping seasons. In all likelihood, this year I'll be using the Weight Weenie Micro for much of the season, turning to the BIAS DL when I might want to supplement my UQ with a pad.

i had thought the same thing..

But, I find the net of the WBBB warmer in the winter. I know it sounds odd, but I now find myself zipping it up in the colder weather.

I also like how the integrated system keeps my quilt in the hammock. I have a GTUL and a brazilian that kick out my blankets on me every now and then.

It's worth repeating, try them all out or buy as many as you can!

For me the WWM is a 8.5
    The WBBB is a 8

I just can't get used to the "footbox" of the WBBB. I have tried to love it, (I have had 5) but it's just not for me.

    Thanks for the replies!

I'll order a WWM and try out a WBBB at an upcoming local hang.

Seems like a great forum here.
