I pretty much leave mine stuck in my MarlinSpike knot when I remove my Tree-Straps from the tree when on the trail. At home.....string to toggle like sodakgrrrl.

I keep mine attached to the webbing so they are there when I need them, then adjust for next hang.

I built a bishop bag for my hammock that has pockets on the outside. I put my toggles and tree straps in those pockets, which works great!
I tethered mine to the whoopie sling loop. It's convenient plus the tether provides a back up to a pull through preventer.

end of tow straps, fold end 3 inches over, sew both sides. creates pockets perfect size for toggles to store into, and allows you to wrap straps and toggles together for storing
