    were to stow toggles

So, I have my suspesion system stowed on the ends of my stuff sack, which worked really great when I set up my hammock. What I want to know is, for those of you using toggles for a marlin spike hitch, where do you stow them? Mine are hitched on the ends of my drawer cord, which is ok, but I'm worried they could fall off.

Funny you ask... I've been wondering the same thing since I made myself a pair of toggles a few weeks ago.

I have a stuff sack that has all my hammock system in it, so I've just been tossing the toggles in there until I come up with something better. It works for me because I can get them out before pulling out the hammock bag and unfurling it; but ideally, I think they should be with the tree straps ... haven't figured out how yet.

We drilled a hole through the end of the toggles, then built a continuous loop through the holes using Zing-It. Larkshead to the end of the tree straps and the toggles are always where you need them!

I just wrap my tree straps around them so that it's all together, and put them in the hammock stuff sack.

X2 with sodakgrrl's method. This way they are always with your tree straps.

I pretty much leave mine stuck in my MarlinSpike knot when I remove my Tree-Straps from the tree when on the trail. At home.....string to toggle like sodakgrrrl.
