I think you just coined a new term. From now on, I'm going to call mine "Gobbles".

That's where I keep my Gobbles too!

I have gone back to webbing and descender rings for my normal suspension, but I keep my whoopies and gobbles together for backup in case I am in a pinch with trees too far apart for my webbing.

+1 this is how I do it to. then I wrap the toggle up in the tree strap so the sharp edges are not exposed to the sack or the hammock

    Thanks.

My primary concern is the toggle poking a hole in either the stuff sack or the hammock.

I like that 'tootsie roll' bag, MtC.

I have two piercings (in strategic locations)

    ..I stow my toggles there.

Mine are tied to the tree straps with line. Not on the ends though. I like to tie my Marlin Spike close to the tree so it's nice to be able to slide the toggle on the strap to get it where I want it. I don't put my tree straps/toggles in the stuff sack with the hammock because I don't want tree sap on my hammock.

+1 on the mountain man mike approach. My toggles are tethered to my whoopies with a short piece of reflective cord (two different colors). This is how I tell the head end from the foot with the snakeskins installed. It also serves the same function as a bead, preventing me from accidentally pulling the whoopies inside out.

    There's a neat organizer here

    Albumshttp://www.hammockforums.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=39334&stc=1&d=13469458 93

It keeps all my toggles, ropes, cords, tree straps, stakes handy and safe. hangs on a loop, safe in the front pouch of my backpack. Keeps the whole team together, always in the same place, exactly, which they never were. And ropes not tangled, which they always were. I'm sold. Weighs couple grams, made of plus-minus. Life is a lot simpler.
