WOW, Slumberjack

I was junkin the other day and found a blue slumberjack 0 degree bag at our goodwill store for $5,thats right a $150 bag for $5. it had the zipper pull missin but i said what the heck ill make another UQ out of it, so after slidin by the register throwin a five spot at the nice lady, home i went to inspect my find. when i got home i got to thinkin, so i got on line looked up the bag on the slumberjack site and started reading about their warranty and said WOW! so i called CO. to see if they really had a lifetime warranty, the nice man said YES, but i said theres no defect in the bag someone has just been ruff and tore the zipper out, he said i dont care, send us the bag(shipping on me,$11.16) and we'll fix it and send it back(shipping on them) so now i have a WONDERFUL bag for $16.16 and slumberjack has my biz.from now on. American made company that stands behind its stuff, try that with that china made junk from the evil empire.

Amazing what some of you are able to find at GoodWill. Our's is into making too much money. Years ago, they even quite giving vouchers out here locally to our clients who really needed clothing. Be glad your Goodwill is working the way it should, that you had great customer service, and found a wonderful deal

That is awesome. I prefer to use a sleeping bag for very cold nights as well because I can give my head extra warmth with the head part of the mummy bag. - and a thumbs up for supporting American products!

I have a Slumberjack Trail Tent 2 Yes I said the "T" word. I was camping last Halloween when the wonderful snow storm hit the Garden State. With all the heavy snow it performed as well as some 4 season tents. I was quite toasty inside and dry.

I see that in all the ones i go into as well, i think the bag was so cheap because it was broken, im sure they would have gotten $$ if it wasn't. i dont have to much luck at goodwill most of the time, yard sales,flea market,home town thriftstores yeild best for us

I was camping in may/June in Idaho and Wyoming a few years back and bought a cheap 0 degree slumberjack synthetic for the trip. Approximately 36 nights in the tent later and temps to 20 degrees and it worked wonderful. Weight was not an issue but great quality for a budget brand.
