My hike on the Titi Creek Trail, the summary first, click for details.

    Here's the cliff notes.

    It has pictures.

There was a guy with a riot gun who was afraid of bears. I interrupted a young couple frolicking. I was afraid of being eaten by an alligator. And, I had to wait 3-1/2 hours in the rain, in my hammock tent for my wife.

Thanks for the write-up, very well written! I grew up in Pensacola (Moved to Houston in 1980) so it was nice to see the home country again.

Great write-up! Just detailed enough without being lost in the trees...wait, there's an hammock joke waiting somewhere in that forest of diction...

More seriously, thanks for sharing. You're a very good writer of trail journals from what I've seen so far. Thanks!

Thanks for taking us along with you, another great trip report. Glad your liking the Superfly, looks to be my next tarp purchase.

Thanks guys, I can't get anyone to go with me during the hikes. I keep hoping they'll read this, hear about the lack of sleep, the blistered feet, and the being cold and soaked by rain, and then want to go next time.

For some reason, no one that reads my reports, ever seem to have time to go with me.

Well, I've got Sundays and Mondays off, and am willing to go anywhere within a hundred miles of Gainesville...so, if you're interested, feel free to PM me...
