Hello (again) from Ottawa

Hi Everyone. I've just recently gotten into hammocking but have been tent camping quite a bit (as much as I can). I had the username 'dcardamo' which is basically my name and decided to create a new one since I like this forum and will probably be on here a bunch

This one is the handle I use on xbox which I never get on anymore.

I nearly always do canoe camping. Now with kids (1.5 & 4) its tough to do the portage trips but they are still worth it. Managed to get out for about 20 days this summer so far.

I've got a nice setup that I'm thrilled with (WBBB, HG TQ/UQ, HG 4S tarp). Last night I spent working on some gear, mostly inspired by what I see on this forum. I ended up making a stuff sack for my GSI Dutch Oven, and a pillow for my hammock. Have to say I love the pillow, the quality of workmanship is the best I've done only because I never do this kind of thing

In fact its quite poor but the pillow is the perfect size and is held in place with a shock cord & prussik to the ridgeline.

Glad to get the chance to join a good group like those here and and to get some inspiration to build some of my own stuff.
