So, at long last, my 1st DIY whoopie sling. Whoo, buddy!! I used a guitar string to pull the bury through and and made inch long tapers and it took about 10 minutes. I know alot of y'all have done this, but I feel like a DIY goddess right about now!
Way to go!

Here's some more fun project with amsteel...
Continous Loop
Shoft Shackles
Ain't it great when it all falls together? Congrats!
I reaally feel like I conquered something! The 1st one took. About 8 days of me picking it up, working on it, not getting it, putting it down...repeat.
The 2nd one, about 11 minutes. Now I wish I'd ordered more Amsteel!
Next for some tree straps, and I'll have a rig for my son. Or me when I take him to the playground. I did that 2 weeks ago, and it was the most relaxing trip to the playground ever. Oscar was busy with his parcour moves, and I was goofing off on Facebook, layin in the hammock.
Contentment!
