    Help With X-Pac Material Please

I'm currently looking at the X-Pac that DIY Gear Supply has - namely the X-Pac TX07 which I understand can be taped. Searching Google didn't bring up anything - does anyone know what type of tape can be used? The same tape Cuban uses?
I want to make some roll top dry bags.

    Any help is appreciated!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Not to downplay diy, I'm all about folks building gear...but buy your dry bags.
The welded seams are the only way to go. No sense taking chances getting your gear wet.

I don't know the answer to your question but I would say send Chris Zimmer at zimmerbuilt a email, he works with x-pac material all the time.

Have you considered using heat sealable nylon instead? You can use a household iron to "weld" the seams. The 30d from Seattle Fabrics is lighter the the TX07 and would be more trustworthy than taped TX07.

Thanks for the link - I'm looking that up right now and will be getting a sample packet.
