@ Paul (SR1355) - I will take you up on your offer of hammock, quilt and tarp if still available. I have talked my wife into coming along - we have a hike planned for next year and I hope to convert her to hanging. Please let me know if the offer stands.
@ everyone - looking forward to seeing your gear and exploring the options as I (we?) will be in the market for hammock, UQ, tarp. Hope you don't mind questions and photos. There by 4pm on Friday if work cooperates, 8pm if not.

That is a big group. Good thing we're not getting ferry tickets.

hoping to be there by one or two pm on friday.. just curious how this works?? do we each rent a campsite for the weekend? that way we stay friday hike sat and back out sunday?? any thoughts for a noob at a group hang would be appreciated! also ive followed that link to the campsite but was wondering coming from nw indiana would it be better to come up 133?
ps.. if we go to outlaw might take me awhile, havent did that much hiking since i was there in the begining of july,,,
pss. I have some extra gear if someone is in need to borrow..
It's not the boulders that throw us off balance, it's the pebbles beneath our feet
Usually we get around 3 people to 4 people to a site, so if your the first up, check out the sites for the most optimal. It's self registration anyway. Didn't see where exactly your coming from, but I would do 131 to 55. Maybe someone else has a better route.hoping to be there by one or two pm on friday.. just curious how this works?? do we each rent a campsite for the weekend? that way we stay friday hike sat and back out sunday?? any thoughts for a noob at a group hang would be appreciated! also ive followed that link to the campsite but was wondering coming from nw indiana would it be better to come up 133?

As far as the hiking, I'm hobbled with a bad ankle right at the moment, so I'll be driving to the other trailhead for the shorter hike. So that might be an option too.
