A reminder to anyone who gets there early:

Ah, that kind of open top. Not I. I have over 300 square feet of bugnet integrated into my rainfly. And since there is a 40% chance of rain, cold rain, yes I will be using the fly, and therefore the bugnet.

ps.. if we go to outlaw might take me awhile, havent did that much hiking since i was there in the begining of july,,,
pss. I have some extra gear if someone is in need to borrow..
dblC, is correct for the best way from IN to get there. Take 131N to 55W then to 37N here are the directions from there, it can be a little tricky at times.....

Generally when we camp there we tend to congregate toward the west end of the loop and on the inside (left).

If you are a little worried about hiking that far, I recommend heading to Slagle Creek Trail head. There are a few sketchy sections of the trail on the way there, right Wildcrafter?

I was out two weekends ago and there were not any bugs, its to cold. I don't have a bug net yet and am not worried about it. As far as the run goes, I am not looking forward to it, I am pretty sure I can configure a system that uses a blue tarp or my tent tarp... this weekend I'd all about experimenting and finding what will work.... and checking out other peoples set ups so I know what to buy.

So is the thought hike from Seaton creek down to the outlaw location? If so does anyone have some two radios with a ten mileage range or so that could be used by the party hiking down the trail and the one driving down to slagle creek and parking?
