I'm in for $5.
Wow, JuneBug you sure look very official with that clipboard and orange vest. Are you sure you don't work for the state or some federal agency???
This place looks nice, and can we use the covered picnic area for a Saturday night potluck?? Yoder's sounds great also. The hubby and I are in, plus a freind or two or more if I can convince them.

Actually, that is the vest I keep in my geocaching bag! It is easy to look "official" if you throw on a vest and carry a clipboard! We can use the covered area, we will just have to drive over as it is on the other side of the park. There are grills there, so that will be a plus. The swimming area is there, too, if anyone wants to be brave! Might be chilly!
sweet i can bring my rifle or maybe the legendary .357 that almost killed me...... im downnnnnnnnnn is this parsons mountain?

Definitely official looking Junebug! Thanks again for riding over there and scouting the location!!! Looks good to me, and Yoder's does sound good for Friday night. Glad to see that Abbeville is close by...maybe I can find a place to watch Saturday's football game. My only "regret" about camping these weekends during the fall is potentially not getting to watch Clemson football!
It sounds like everyone is happy with Parson's Mountain, so unless anyone objects, I'm just going to go ahead and officially say that is the location. I'm sure one of the restaurants on the square probably has a TV. I'll ask my Abbeville peeps for confirmation for you. I can bring my Ruger 10/.22 if someone will let me store it in their vehicle as I will probably be getting dropped off for the weekend. My scope needs to be sighted...can any of you fellas help a girl out or teach me?
