Actually most of the time(Mon-Sat) its just gonna be me and Max. Just peace and quiet. Some hiking, biking, swimming and just laying back reading time. Few folks joining late Friday or sat morning. But ya never know. Might just show up.

Can't remember if I mentioned that there are mountain bike trails here. Also, I'm working on borrowing some extra kayaks. The hiking trails here are nice. One takes you past old gold mines and up to the firetower.

dawn, if you do wrangle another kayak, may i borrow it? and i may need a hiking partner.

also update on the bike. the impact of the car managed to completely sever the fuel injection harness in half. !!

Yes, the kayaks will be for whoever wants to use them. Ahhgladius, you can use one for sure. :-) I plan to get to camp Friday morning so I can claim some sites, setup and have all day to play. Y'all come as early as you want.

I'm still in gear sewing mode. I just used the last scraps of ripstop I had. I paid about 90 for the remnant piece and made 5 stuff sacks and 2 ridgeline pockets ...not bad for less than a buck!

You and I are in the same mode. Been working on a tarp for a friend. After that I have a couple of 3/4 CLuq's to knock out. Can't wait for this trip.

Quick Question about this event -- Is this going to be a "Kid Friendly" event??? I want to bring my girls with me but at the same time I don't want to be explaining what some words mean and why WE don't use those words.

I think there will be some other children, too. I'm sure everyone will watch their P's & Q's (or F's...or...) around little ears, right???
