Sounds great, thanks for the clarification, rcracin24.

What about a whiparound for vittles, or is that BYOB sorta thing, too? I'd hate to be THAT GUY who shows up with eight packs of hot dogs (enough for everybody) and goes home with seven and a half packs 'cause everybody was nomming on their on tasties.

HAHA, I'm almost certain I'm hooked already, and I haven't even tried it. The community (thus far, and it's only been a day) has seen to that!

I'm fine with Sumter NF. I think it's only about 1-1.5 hours from me. Being on the river would be nice. It is cheaper and having the showers on site would be nice.

If you show up w/ hot dogs for everyone, I'm sure they'll get eaten!

I just checked Google Maps, and it appears Sumter NF is about 45 min. or so from you.

All this talk had me go out to the woods out back just to set up my (borrowed) hammock (just until I can get one of me own). I learned one thing: Fatties need to set up between trees that are bigger around than the ones I set up between.

You've never seen trees bow like what I just saw.

Regardless, I think my wife's gonna hate this new addiction until I'm done spending money (IE: never).

Cool, I hadn't checked. Heck, takes me almost 30 minutes to get to Lake Greenwood S.P., so that's not much further.

Sumter is less than 2 hrs from me and it's not interstate so I could bring the bike. It'll really just depend on the date.
