Re:Two up in a Clark Hammock??? Yes.
From the Clark yahoo group site
Hello everyone,
This is a great question. I am pleased to announce (exclusively to this group) that Clark will offer a 2-Person hammock available for sale before the end of 2008. This design, with patent pending, allows for two independent hammock beds with room for inside storage. This isn't just a really wide hammock where you just end up squished together all night. The new model allows the two occupants to be quite separated if they wish and in the morning you won't feel like you have anything but a Platonic relationship unless you want more than that. In fact, if one person gets up in the middle of the night, the other won't even feel it. Now, this all comes at a price. The hammock is nearly double the weight of a standard model, although the rain fly and pole can be carried by another person. The cost will be about double a solo hammock. The hammock also is suspended from 3 supports instead of two. However, in testing we have found that it isn't much harder to find three trees in a workable formation than it is to find two. In addition to being the only true 2-person camping hammock, this is also the most comfortable solo hammock ever built. You'll be amazed by the various sleeping posibilities (including spread eagle).
More information will be forthcoming
