WTB: HH Scout w/tarp

Upon the advise of others, I picked up a used WBBB 1.7 dbl instead...

BOUGHT: HH Scout w/tarpsy Scout hammock, complete with tarp. This will be for my 11-year-old son, for us to use on hiking/camping trips into the mountains for weekend fishing trips to remote lakes. I'm looking for something that comes as-shipped from HH (ready to go).

If you can find a good deal on one I'd recommend getting an Expedition over the Scout. They weigh the same (actually the site shows the Expedition being an ounce lighter). You can loan out the Expedition to an adult friend but the Scout is kind of small for that. The fly is 30% larger on the Expedition too and it's more the "asym" shape so it will have a slightly better lay. I picked up secondhand Expeditions for both my kids.

+1 on the Expedition. Kids outgrow everything so fast why buy twice. Just my $.02
