What kind of cord is your tarp ridgeline?

I love to use this on my tarps.....No-Tangle Guy Line.
Easy to see and does not reflect.

YoU could certainly use Amsteel, but is looked at as overkill.

Just keep in mind, you want your lines to go first, not the tarp. I wouldn't even use Dynaglide on my tarp, let alone Amsteel. A good wind comes up, and guess which is going first between the tarp and the 1600lb 7/64 Amsteel? Haha. Ridgeline isn't so much an issue, but definitely don't use the stuff for guylines.

Anywho, I'm another Zing-It & Dutchware guy. Beautiful combination... almost as if... they were... made to be together.

One more question (maybe a separate thread) I have some Nite Ize Figure 9 carabiners, I was thinking of just clipping one end to the tarp, run the cord around the tree and back through the figure 9 part to secure it. Then the same thing on the other end.

Is there a way to use these easily and also have a full length tarp ridge line under my tarp to hang other stuff from?

On a continuous ridge line you only "need" one point of adjustment, but just use one on each side of your ridgeline if that is what you have on hand. HYOH

Clip the carabiner to the free loop of the tree strap, use the Figure 9 as intended to tension the continuous ridge line, and then use prusiks to attach the tarp to said line.

Add another turn or two to the prusik or try a klemheist knot.
