Man...you're making me crave sushi!

The place in Columbia for Sushi is Inakaya or TakoSushi.
Also, not far from the Dreher Island (closer than Columbia) is an all you can eat sushi buffet that includes hibachi.
the place i suggested is in sandhills near sesqui.

Sesqui isn't near as nice as it used to be. I had a Groupon for use with one of six state parks in SC, and Sesquicentennial was one of the options, and everybody in my group immediately tossed that one out as an option (we eventually settled on Poinsett).
I spoke with a lady at Sesquicentennial this morning. The primitive area is available Oct. 29-Nov. 1, however she needed to speak with her supervisor who is gone the rest of this week about whether they would allow our group since they mostly allow scout groups and the occasionally church group. I told her that we had stayed at Santee S.P. a couple of weeks ago and she could call Ranger Brad to check on our group. I didn't mention that large donation we made knowing if she called, he would give us a positive report. :-)
I inquired about bathrooms/showers. She said there are bathrooms at a shelter "within walking distance", but that we could not use the showers unless we rented a tent site. She said we were welcome to do that and up to 6 people could stay on a site, but that she didn't think most sites would have enough trees to hang 6 hammocks. I may be able to make more headway with the supervisor, but it will be next week before he will be back in the office.
I tried to call Dreher Island and left a message. A lady called and left me a message since I was in training. I need to return her call. Guess we'll have to see if we get any further with them.
