    First time hang advice

Hey guys, I just received my WBBB double 1.1 and love this thing! So excited to use it so I decided to try it out tomorrow night. I bought a HH asym hex fly to use with the hammock. Any first time advice, or anything I should not overlook? Do most use a second ridgeline for the rain tarp? Thanks.

Congrats on the BlackBird purchase. Most (like 99%) use a ridgeline specifically for their tarps. Some use a continuous ridgeline and some use two separate pieces of cord, one on each end of the tarp. Other than that, get out there and hang that thang!

    1. Have the suspension at about a 30* angle. If you have any problems, post photos of your setup with your questions.

    2. Try hanging the foot end 6" higher than the head end.

    3. Enjoy!

I like the DutchWare Stingerz with a bit of line on each end. I also like a continuous ridge line, with or without hardware.

I also like the1.75 zingit continous ridgeline over or under the tarp. dutchware dutchhook and tarpflys. attach tarp to ridgeline with prussiks and dutchware biners or tie the loose ends of prussik directly to tarp loop leaving out the biner.

I use cord on either end of my tarp. I use Kelty Triptease cord both for the benefit of myself and my camp mates, haha.
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good...
